List of "rules" found in street gang leader's home: "Sentencing arguments have begun in a drug trafficking case involving the reputed leader of one of the more notorious street gangs in Montreal.
Chenier (Big) Dupuy, 34, was described by a Montreal police street gang expert as the leader of the BoGars, a gang that has been present in Montreal North for years. A personal note found at a residence in Laval where Dupuy was living when he was arrested for trafficking in cocaine in 2008 indicates he had plans to expand his gang’s reach well beyond Montreal North.
The note reads like a to-do list but is titled “Ten Rules to Follow” – despite the fact there are actually 11. At least one rule was philosophic. It read “Rule the order within disorder.”
Rule number nine for Dupuy was “expansion mtl, l.a., Stl, ont.”"
