Third suspect in alleged gang shooting nabbed - Fall River, MA - The Herald News: "Raised voices outside a strip club put Thomas Phin in jail.
He is now facing charges of attempted murder.
Phin, 18, of Pine Street, was arrested Saturday outside the Foxy Lady, New Bedford, after he attracted the attention of a New Bedford police officer by getting into a loud argument at the door to the club.
A computer check resulted in Phin’s arrest. Police have charged him with being part of the group of young men who shot and seriously injured a 14-year-old on Fountain Street during the afternoon of May 18.
Phin has been on the wanted list for the past week after a car, reputedly carrying members of the Bloods street gang, opened fire on a group of young men standing on the sidewalk in front of a home on Fountain Street.
The shooter was trying to hit a member of the Crips, a rival street gang, but the bullet instead struck a 14-year-old who has no connection to either gang, police say."
