three members of one family were shot

Police say three members of one family were shot Tuesday evening while playing basketball in Compton.
Authorities said the gunman, 15 or 16, belongs to a gang.The shooting took place one block north of Compton Boulevard on East San Luis Street about 5 p.m. Authorities said two of the victims are in critical condition and the third, a ten-year-old girl, is stable.A 17-year-old boy and a 45-year-old man are critical, according to Lt. Henry Saucedo of the Compton's Sheriff Station.Saucedo says police know the incident was gang related "by some of the words uttered by the shooter."One of the victims is also reportedly gang-affiliated.
