Police said 10 firearms were seized, along with $30,000 cash, $10,500 in casino cheques, diamonds, cocaine, crack, marijuana, hash oil, more than 10,000 Ecstasy pills, body armour and vehicles.
The source also said homicide detectives will be reviewing the eight shooting deaths in south 12 Division that occurred in early 2008 to determine if there's any connection with the arrested suspects.
The seized firearms, some taken in during the raids and others as Project Corral progressed, will undergo ballistic tests to determine if they're linked to any unsolved crimes.
Officers from three police divisions — 12, 23 and 31 — were needed to handle the influx of suspects.
Tactical teams and uniform officers from other services in the GTA were brought in to assist."
