Fresno gang member gets 8 years for shooting death - San Jose Mercury News: "Fresno gang member will serve eight years in prison for manslaughter in the death of a 16-year-old youth.
A Fresno County Superior Court judge sentenced 23-year-old Antonio Garcia to the term for opening fire on Feb. 11, 2007. after seeing people spray rival gang graffiti on a church. A bullet hit 16-year-old Steven Keffel in the back as he was running for his life.
In November, Garcia was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter and also the attempted manslaughter of one of Keffel's associates. Garcia was also found guilty of cocaine possession."
