Murder puts gang problem under spotlight « Pjay41's Blog: "Hillsborough County deputies say a “known associate” of the Latin Kings street gang was shot to death early this morning in Town N’ Country.
Deputies say 16-year-old Noslsen Careaga was shot several times in the chest. A deputy on patrol discovered his body at around 6:30 a.m., just a few steps away from the soccer fields behind Morgan Woods Elementary.
A neighbor says he heard what he thought was firecrackers at around 2 a.m.
“I was half asleep. I had just woken up, it was three, maybe four pops. I just heard ‘pop, pop, pop’ real fast, real close together,” the resident said."
