Two alleged members of the Chulos 18 street gang were arrested early today in connection with the stabbing of a Yonkers man, police said.The victim, age 21, suffered a knife wound to the back and was being treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, city police said.The stabbing occurred at about 1:15 a.m. in the vicinity of 257 S. Broadway and police were called about 15 minutes later. Responding to the scene, officers saw two suspects, one of whom was seen dropping a gravity knife to the pavement. Both men were arrested.Yonkers residents Omar Tapia, 26, and Jose Fuentes, 20, were charged with second-degree attempted assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing, misdemeanors. They were being held in the city jail, pending arraignment Monday.
