The Cedar Block Piru are a street gang named after a residential street called Cedar Street in the west side of Compton, California. This gang has been active since about 1980. Their territory stretches from approximately south of Rosecrans Avenue and north of West Arbutus Street between the Compton Creek and Elm Street. Part of their neighborhood overlaps with the Tree Top Pirus. Their closest Crip rival are Palmer Blocc Compton Crips just south of Palmer Street but they are also considered enemies of the Park Village Compton Crips, Santana Blocc Compton Crips, the Original Front Hood Compton Crips, the Compton Varrio Tortilla Flats, Compton Varrio 70 and Compton Varrio 155. They are allies of the Fruit Town Pirus, East Side Pirus and the Original Block Piru 151.
