Rickey Rice, 28, was sentenced on Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Rebecca Beach Smith. Rice was one of 11 co-defendants named in a 39-count indictment last spring that included charges of murders, robberies, assaults, arson and other criminal activity surrounding the gang.Rice pled guilty in April to charges that he participated in a racketeering conspiracy involving drug trafficking and violent crimes.Three other members of the same gang received similar sentences earlier this month. Twan D. Bugg and Ty Ramon Davis received 30-year sentences in early September, and Samuel L. Bates received 25 years.
