More than 600 people had been arrested in the month-long sweep. More than 200 of them were alleged Bulldog gang members.Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer announced on Monday the results of the department's recent crackdown on gangs and gang activities.Dyer told reporters at a news conference that the Bulldog street gang was attempting to make a comback, but that officers would continue targeting gang members.
He said part of the growing gang problem is that parolees are getting out of prison and joining gangs.
