U.S. Border Patrol arrested two Mexican nationals identified as members of the Sureños street gang late Saturday night in the Casa Grande area, an agency spokesman said.The two men were arrested in separate incidents, said Omar Candelaria, a Border Patrol spokesman. He gave the following details:One of the suspects is a 21-year-old from Acapulco, Guerrero, who has been previously arrested for sexual assault, kidnapping and assault.The other, a 19-year-old from Matatlán, Oaxaca, has a warrant for his arrest from California for a weapons charge. Border Patrol is waiting to see if California will extradite him for that offense, Candelaria said.In other news, Border Patrol arrested a felon in Sonoita on Friday, Candelaria said.The 34-year-old, male Mexican national had been convicted of child abuse with physical injury in Cheyenne, Wyo., and deported. He’s now being held for prosecution for reentry of an aggravated felon, Candelaria said.
