Erick Nunez, 24, was sentenced Friday in Los Angeles. He was convicted of first-degree murder with special circumstances. Prosecutors said Nunez and another man opened fire during a private rap-music party in 2005, spraying 26 rounds and continuing to shoot the victims as they lay dying. Nunez was arrested in 2006 during a shootout with sheriff's deputies after he took a Compton family hostage. A co-defendant is awaiting sentencing for the Moose Lodge killings. A third man awaits trial. At Friday's hearing, one victim's mother told Nunez that she will "pray every night that your life is filled with misery
