The Wanganui court was told on Monday that a man wearing a red hooded jacket was attacked by five Black Power members and associates, and was killed by a single axe-blow.Police say Paul Kumeroa was not a member of the rival Mongrel Mob but was wearing their colours while walking home in Castlecliff last September.
The court heard a car with Black Power members stopped and one man allegedly took an axe and swung it with both hands, hitting Kumeroa behind the right ear.He died later in hospital.
