Three Hispanic males involved in a bar fight Saturday night in Moundhouse sent one victim to the hospital with severe head injuries.Sheriff’s deputies responded to the fight at the NV 50 Bar and Lounge in Moundhouse, Nev., just after midnight on Saturday. Deputies found a man bleeding profusely from the head lying in the parking lot. Several people were in the parking lot and the club was packed for a concert inside.The Central Lyon County Fire Department provided medical attention and transported the man to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center with severe head injuries.Gang Task Force Members with the sheriff’s department learned through interviews two local rival gangs were at the club that night. The gang members were disputing “territory” when they went to the parking lot. Two separate fights broke out at some time.Witnesses say Gabriel Munoz, his younger brother Adrian Munoz and another unidentified Hispanic male began beating the victim. Adrian Munoz picked up a piece of cinder block and struck the victim on the head as he lay unconscious on the ground.Gabriel Munoz and the other unidentified male then joined the fight and began kicking the victim. All three suspects in the beating fled the area before deputies arrived. They were last seen on Highway 50 heading toward Carson City in a large black or dark blue SUV.The Lyon County Gang Task Force and detectives will continue the investigation; however, as of approximately 3:45 a.m. Saturday no arrests have been made. The suspects face charges of battery with a deadly weapon.
