Suspect shot teen in the torso and drove away

Reno Police Department and the Regional Gang Unit are investigating a shooting that hurt an 18-year old Reno man on Friday night. Investigators say the victim got into a fight with a man in the 600 block of Moana Friday night around 9p.m. They say the suspect shot the teen in the torso and drove away. The victim went to a near-by convenience store to call for help, and he was taken to Renown Medical Center for treatment. Police say his injuries are not life threatening. Authorities have not released a suspect or vehicle description. They say the shooting is most likely gang related.
