"My husband was walking the dog - heard six shots and called 911," said one neighbor. "He also saw a car tearing out of a side street and up Holly Park Drive. He was the second caller. Moments later a number of police cars arrived, as well as an ambulance that left somewhat later with lights on."

"Her house was definitely targeted because her son is a suspected gang member. He was not home at the time of the shooting. It was just her, alone, sitting on her couch and watching TV. She is very, very lucky that the rounds weren't a foot higher."

Neighbors in the area reported seeing a gray-blue SUV circling the neighborhood repeatedly yesterday afternoon between 3 and 4 pm. The description matches the one witnesses of last night's shooting gave to police.According to Lt. Sano, the rounds were 40-caliber and 9-mm and the Gang Unit is investigating. There were no arrests.
