Brothers shot dead as Dublin gang war erupts: "Paul Corbally (35) and his brother Kenneth (32) were in a car in the Neilstown Road area of Clondalkin, west Dublin, just after 8pm when they were gunned down in cold blood.
Both brothers died at the scene. Gardai were trying to establish whether the injured teenager was in the car with the Corbally brothers or was a bystander. The teenager was hit in the arm. It is understood his injuries are not life threatening.
The brothers, who were well known to gardai, were originally from Drumfinn Avenue in Ballyfermot, Dublin.
Gardai were last night still trying to piece together the events leading up to the double killing.
It is understood the car in which the brothers were travelling may have slowed down when another car pulled alongside and the gunman opened fire with a hand gun, possibly an automatic pistol.

They have flushed out firms as varied as second-hand car dealerships and tanning salons that they believe are being used as cover for major gangland figures.
Strathclyde Police used Proceeds of Crime laws to freeze some £3.5 million in assets at the companies and seized more than another £300,000 in goods and cash during their six-week Operation Enterprise.
But they have also, for the first time, revealed the true scale of criminal infiltration of Glasgow’s business world.
Detective Inspector Joe McKerns, said: “We have identified almost 300 businesses as having links to organised crime groups.”"

During the past three years, the percentages of criminals who got sentences were 92.1 percent, 94.3 percent and 97 percent.
The courts are also meting out tougher penalties.

Suspects in Worcester gang murder appear in court: "Waldemar Quinones stood in Worcester District Court friday, charged with the murder of 22 year old Jose River. According to court documents Quinones and the victim were both members of the Latin Kings gang in Worcester. Teen stabbed in face during gang fight - Salt Lake Tribune: "15-year-old was knifed in his face during a gang fight Sunday in Midvale, police said.
Police would not say which gangs were involved in the fight near 7900 S. Allen St. (612 West). The teen was reported stabbed about 5 p.m. and was taken to a hospital, said Midvale police Sgt. Joseph is believed to have been the intended target of a brazen fatal shooting in an Old Montreal clothing store in March.
Osborne Anthony was one of four men who joined Joseph in the attack at Buonanotte restaurant on St. Laurent Boulevard in September 2009.
The incident apparently started when Joseph's bodyguard, Peter Christopoulos exchanged words with a customer and the doorman came over to check things out.
